Music
Configuration
A configuration represents a saved state for:
- A playlist
- An adaptive input config
- A visualiser config
- A set of timers
Configurations are automatically saved, insluding the currently selected configuration and song. This allows starting from where you left off when opening the app.
Playlists
New playlist - overwrites current playlist with selection.
Append to playlist - appends selection to current playlist.
Shuffle: When a song is finished, choose a random song next (defaults to next in list).
Handle:
2 switch mode: cycle through songs with space, start with enter. see 2 switch mode for more info.
Timers
Define how long to play music before automatic pause.
When using time "Infinite" input starts and stops the music. Otherwise if the music is playing the input does nothing and susequent presses are logged as miss hits
Visualiser
Type: Change the visualiser animation
Stroke: how thick the lines are.
Colours: Set the various colours of the animations.
Quick settings
Set the visualiser animation and change the timer without going into the settings menu.
Usage
Miss hits
Using switch mode, when music is playing pressing the enter switch will log a miss hit for that play session.
You can save this information to a file. This can be useful for trying to track enjoyement for exmaple. Are there more/less miss hits for a particular song?
2 switch mode
Connect one switch as Enter, the other as Space.
The switch mapped as Space will allow the user to cycle through songs.
The switch mapped as Enter will allow the user to play the music
